Business Development Manager - Fiber Optic
Tasks and Responsibilities
• Prepare and administer forecasting related to FOM
products
• Prepare proposals for domestic and international FOM
products
• Work with customers, Marketing, and Product
Development Engineering to create new precuts and new
opportunities for existing and new products
• Provide guidelines and recommendations for unique
aftermarket pricing modules
• Review contract requirements and assign responsibility
for estimating.
• Prepare price proposal section in accordance with
customer requirements
• Maintain price proposal files for spares and major
quote efforts
• Development of military LRU and spares price lists
• Provide Program Management support as required.
• Interface with Moog’s legacy operations
• Work with Siebel to insure all contracts, quotes and
communication are through Siebel database
• Attendance at industry DoD and other symposiums and
meetings
• Exhibit products and promote service capabilities as
related to Mil/Aero Aftermarket, FOM products at trade
shows and seminars
• Make presentations at customers’ sites, trade shows,
and industry meetings
• Develop and maintain products literature in
conjunctions with marketing
• Gather and maintain competitive strategic information
regarding customers, markets and competitive product
data
