Manufacturing Engineer
This position is for a Manufacturing Engineer on a large
development program transitioning into high volume
production. The candidate will serve as a focal point to
the design team through New Product Introduction (NPI)
and into full rate production of software definable
radios in multiple different form factors to the US
government. They will assume a leadership role during
the NPI phase, and then continue to support the project
during the production phase. This is a large complex
project with over $4B worth of potential follow-on

Manufacturing Engineer I
Job Description -
Support the production of new and existing products in a
group that designs and manufactures antennas, connectors
and cable assemblies for the space and defense industry.
Responsibilities include reviewing new designs and
making changes to improve manufacturability, writing
final assembly procedures, and troubleshooting
manufacturing problems. The engineer will also work to
improve yields through the use of statistical process
control and generate maintenance procedures for
equipment. The engineer will identify tooling
requirements and work with the tooling engineer in
designing new tools that use the principles of
'mistake-proofing'.
The engineer will work with production to set up
continuous flow cells to assemble cables.
Experience -:
B.S. or M.S. in Engineering and five years of related
