CoMotion-based applications let people analyze and share
data as well as thoughts about that data, with other
people in real-time. Well-informed group decisions are
made quickly across technical, organizational and
geographic boundaries without travel costs or changes to
existing information systems.
Seeking an experienced Technical Writer to support our
technical documentation products, training offerings,
and internal documentation materials. Will have the
responsibility to write, revise and produce technical
manuals and materials related to the use and support of
our software. Additionally, the individual will support
the documentation of system requirements, processes, and
tools. Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- Design, develop, publish, and maintain internal and
external documentation for projects & products as
required. - Research technology and collaborate with
Subject Matter Experts to document project & product
details. - Communicate and coordinate updates to
documentation and ensure the timely distribution of
updated documentation. - Create document modules that
can be repurposed within the single-source publishing
system. - Support the creation and documentation of
internal and external processes and procedures. -
Identify new documentation needs and create materials to
meet the requirements. - May coordinate department
activities such as production of documents, scheduling
meetings, preparing agendas, and maintaining files. -
Perform other duties as required. - Bachelors degree in
Technical/Professional Writing, English, Journalism, or
related field. - Minimum one (1) years of experience
with software implementation, training, or testing. -
Minimum three (3) years of technical writing /
documentation experience. - Experience documenting
system requirements. - Working knowledge of authoring
within an XML or other structured publishing system.
DocBook experience preferred. - Experience with using
markup languages (XML, SGML, etc). Experience with XSL
scripting a plus. - Experience with Microsoft Office
products. - Experience in a Software Product Line
environment desired. - Experience in creating, editing,
and maintaining printed and online documentation. -
Experience in creating materials for platform-based and
web-based training. Knowledge of at least one
established training methodology is a plus. - Ability to
create, evaluate and adhere to format/style/content
guidelines - Ability to write clear, concise
instructions for software applications. - Flexible, able
to work with tight deadlines, comfortable working on
teams or alone, detail oriented, and well organized. -

Sr Technical Editor/Writer
Provide technical writing and editing expertise in
direct support to cyber security Subject Matter Experts
(SME), working on highly complex projects supporting the
development and implementation of an enterprise secure
(classified) network for a major Federal agency. Prepare

Weapon System Manual, Fault Isolation Trees, and One
Function Diagrams. Reviews technical source data and
change drivers to produce the required documentation in
accordance with SSP instructions and requirements.
Reviews the work of others to ensure technical accuracy,
clarity and quality as required.
