Description
BAE Systems is looking for an experienced Systems Engineer who is ready for a new challenge with an innovative company.

Provide project management including identifying, tracking and reporting contract activities (e.g. tasks, milestones, personnel resources, and costs) associated with the SOW. Develop an executable Capabilities project plan (or equivalent). The plan should (at minimum) identify all activities, milestones, deliverables, schedule, personnel, equipment and costs necessary to implement the plan over time. Examples of the activities, milestones, etc that should be addressed include engineering analysis (CONOP, requirements, RFC), architecture, system and application development, testing (e.g. integration testing), fielding, (deployment), training, security, facilities, comms, policy, operations and sustainment (or equivalent). Develop a Capabilities operational CONOP and requirements (or equivalent) including TPED operations, technical concepts, products and information, data and information flow, organizations, and performance. Identify the customer system and technical architecture and data model (or equivalent) on which to implement the Capabilities. Assist in developing an available funding profile. Identify risks and issues. Address FY 2006 through at least FY2010 in the project plan, CONOP and requirements, architecture, funding and risk activities above. Support the development of any Capabilities RFCs. Attend and participate (e.g. by providing briefings) in necessary boards and forums in order to gather information, provide information, and/or obtain guidance and concurrence. Work actions from boards and forums. Address concepts and content of relevant documents (e.g. the Enterprise Architecture, Strategic Implementation Plan (SIP), etc). Coordinate, conduct, and/or participate in TEMs with necessary organizations (internal and external to the customer) to gather information to support activities above. Examples of organizations include mission partners, Military Commands and Services.


* US Citizenship.
* B.S. in appropriate technical field, preferably in system engineering or 12 years minimum experience in a related technical field is required.
* 10-15 years experience in Geospatial TPED terminology, technology, products and operational processes, systems and technical architectures, engineering processes (e.g. RFC), forums, commands/services and organizations.
* Applicant should have experience working in a large distributed systems engineering and systems architecture environment.
* Experience with Geospatial and/or Intelligence community
* Candidates considered will be required to have an active TS clearance
