BAE Systems is looking for an experienced Senior Systems Engineer who is ready for a new challenge with an innovative company.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a member of the Maintenance Engineering & Test Department, this individual will perform system engineering tasks for transition of segments/systems/operations from the customers Acquisition directorate to the customers Operations & Sustainment directorate. The engineer will serve as a working group lead to conduct engineering studies using industry best practices for system engineering. This engineer will chair Integrated Product Team meetings, along with Technical Exchange Meetings which will focus on future production/operational and system maintenance needs.This individual will evaluate data and documents from developed segments/systems to determine support capabilities. This engineer will also assess Request For Change packages, prepare Engineering Change Proposals and Rough Orders of Magnitude cost estimates for new systems or functional capabilities. Senior system engineers will be project leads for ECP conduct. The system engineer will evaluate and plan Commercial-Off-The-Shelf hardware and software insertions, upgrades and patches.

Applicants with lesser qualifications may be considered at a lower level salary grade.

* U.S. Citizenship
* Previous experience supporting NGA segments/systems.
* Previous Geospatial intelligence, mapping and imaging experience such as GeoMedia, RemoteView, ESRI and/or ERDAS products is desirable
* Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
* Knowledge of MS Access, MS Project and ServiceCenter
* Must collaborate well with others, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and exhibit professionalism
* Eligible candidates must have a minimum of a TS/SCI level clearance
