* Individual provides analytical and systems support to the Customer, serving as an expert in all manners related to Geographical Information Systems and Arc IMS.
* Individual advises all source analysts regarding incorporation of geospatial products into existing production including data formatting and collation, and identifying sources of geospatial data.
* Individual collects and downloads existing sources of geospatial and imagery data.
* Individual provides training in geospatial analysis, use of ARC View, ARC IMS, ERDAS, C2PC, and WARFIGHTER.
* Individual acts as intergovernmental, interagency, and joint, liaison regarding geospatial information.
* Individual assists in implementation of new and alternate GIS technologies.
* Individual updates and maintains Customers geospatial map service and attends and contributes to weekly division and section planning/production meetings.
* Individual is responsible for cross training members of the Trans Regional GIS section.
* Individual is responsible for GIS section hardware and software maintenance and operability.
* Individual may be called on to write manuals, standing operating procedures and technical notes in support of the GIS team efforts.

* United States Citizenship
* Software: ARC View, ARC IMS, and ERDAS
* Education: BS in geography or related field
* Functional: MI training
