Our client is a global provider of operations, maintenance and logistics, and simulation services. We are seeking a proven Human Resources leader for its corporate headquarters in Maryland. This position reports directly to the President. Will have responsibilities providing Human Resources leadership for 500+ employees located throughout the world and ensuring alignment between HR objectives and overall Company strategies.
PRIMARY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Will demonstrate experience as a cross-functional business partner in a competitive business environment. Deliver organizational goals that inspire and motivate employees, driving management and employee development programs to promote overall employee growth, and ensuring processes are in place for effective recruitment, while maintaining employee retention. This individual will serve as the primary resource to management and employees regarding policies, procedures, and problem resolution. The incumbent will oversee an HR staff, while working closely with Payroll and the Corporate HR staff, in the areas of benefits & compensation plans, and performance management administration.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors degree in HR or a related field required.
Should have experience in the Defense industry.
Experience or knowledge dealing with Government proposals
“Contract Services Act” a plus
7 to 10 years of HR management/supervisory experience including work at
a multi-site employer.
Master’s a plus; PHR or SPHR certification preferred;
Compensation is $120k, full benefits.
Location is in Baltimore Maryland area
