Responsible for the system level security design of military communications systems and products. In this position you will be expected to:
• Work with customers to understand program requirements
• Analyze program requirements (functional, security, electrical, software) to determine required security architecture and high level design
• Work with detailed design team to refine the design approach consistent with acceptable security practices and program cost and schedule constraints
• End products may range from large communications systems to individual circuit card assemblies or custom integrated circuitsExperience:
Expert knowledge in one or more of the following areas is required:
• Type 1 Communications Security (COMSEC) design
• Type 1 NSA certification process
• Type 1 key management
Training or experience in one or more of the following areas is required:
• Fielded Type 1 cryptographic products (e.g., KY-57, KG-84)
• Information assurance (IA)
• TEMPEST
• Encryption, key management and communications
• HAIPIS, EKMS, DS-101/102, Link 16, Link 11
• Tactical military radios (e.g., SINCGARS, EPLRS, JTRS)
• Computer security
• Crypto (e.g., FASTLANE, TACLANE)
• System modeling
• Firmware design
Qualifications:
• Individual will possess a minimum of 15 years experience with a Bachelor’s degree
• Master’s degree with a minimum of 12 years experience is preferred
