PRODUCT TEST ENGINEER - Northern Virginia

This position involves the planning for and conducting of stand-alone and integrated testing of Adaptive Methods products during all phases of product life cycle development up to and including verification and validation.

Responsibilities to include but not be limited to:
•        Development, planning, and execution/support of Government Acceptance Testing (GAT) for Adaptive Methods products and services
•        Evaluation and classification of program GAT requirements and subsequent coordination of requirements definition, risk assessment, and development of approved test and support procedures necessary to meet contractual requirements
•        Review of testing requirements and support to systems engineering in development of test plans and process
•        Assist in the development and preparation of test procedures
•        Perform other duties as assigned by senior managers, officers and directors
•        Conduct qualification, first article, and support GAT tests
•        Assist in the evaluation and documentation of test results
•        Diagnose failures and perform failure analysis

Qualifications and Experience:         
•        Must have a BSEE or BSET with minimum of four years experience in government testing and test program execution.
•        Must have experience with contracts, system requirements definition, and test plan development and execution.
•        Experience is required in data acquisition, analysis and reporting.
•        Must be computer literate with prior exposure to programming languages.
•        Must have experience with sensor interface design and commercial off-the-shelf computer hardware to sensor and software to sensor interfacing
•        Must be willing and able to travel and work in potentially adverse conditions dealing with off-shore and naval vessel test environments.

DESIRABLE JOB SKILLS:         
•        Experience with military testing and approval procedures preferred.
•        Experience with programming languages and software testing preferred.
•        Experience with sonar and/or radar systems, and ship to shore radio communications preferred.

Travel will be required.
Security Clearance required.
