The individual selected will serve as the Information Assurance Team Lead in the application of processes and procedures. This position will require the lead to define and represent Raytheon’s/program computer security policy, participate as a permanent member of CAWG and Raytheon Critical Activity Review Board, lead and be responsible for site Certification and Accreditation (C&A) activities, act as the Cost Account Manager (CAM) for the programs Security Engineering Team, ensure that verbal agreements are documented and vetted at appropriate meetings, provide input in costing for new designs and upgrades, provides tasking to team members and monitor schedule performance, and provides performance appraisal inputs for site matrixed team members to the Mid-Atlantic Security Engineering ManagerThe Ideal candidate will have significant hands-on experience with network security management, implementation and operations in a classified environment including an understanding of all current DoD and Intelligence community security regulations, directives and policies. Have the ability to obtain Program Management buy-in and support of IA position. Have the ability to become involved in design process from Day 1. Willing to accept and appropriately use the Authority to “Accept Risk”. Additionally, the candidate will already have a clear understanding of day-to-day Freedom Program Operation & Maintenance (O&M) needs.

§ Good writing, oral and interpersonal skills.

Required Education(including Major):
Requires a BS/BA in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or equivalent with multiple years of experience working with complex, networked communications systems.
