Job Summary: Intevac is seeking a self-motivated and energetic individual to fill a Test Engineering position in the Santa Clara Imaging production facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing electro-optical tests on wafers, die, imaging sensors and finished cameras. Additionally, the engineer will be responsible for the development, coding, and debug of new test procedures as well as the development and fabrication of new test hardware. Other responsibilities include calibration, maintenance, and repair of Intevac’s test toolset.
Primary Job Duties:
· Responsible for managing all wafer, die, sensor, and camera testing
· Maintain test toolset and instrument calibrations, identify and purchase spare parts, and write toolset preventive maintenance (PM) procedures
· Design, program, and debug new test procedures
· Design and implement test system upgrades
· Manage data collection, analysis, and presentation
· Manage data archive on internal servers
· Maintain and update documents related to operation of test systems
· Interact with device engineering and development groups to improve test implementation, improve image sensor performance, and meet customer test requirements

Minimum Requirements:
· BS in electrical engineering, computer science, physics, or closely related field
· 5+ years experience programming in LabView
· Experience in characterization and test of optoelectronic devices
· Strong analytical and diagnostic skills
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Proficiency with MS Office Suite
· Knowledge of optics and imaging devices would be a plus
· US citizenship or Permanent Resident status required
