Job Summary:
Successful candidates will be expected to perform engineering tasks through the development of a working knowledge of applicable design criteria, regulatory requirements, standards and processes; manage multiple design projects, including developing and detailed project schedules; analyzing and documenting critical design elements; coordinating with others to determine requirements and incorporate feedback; and performing Quality Assurance/Quality Control reviews

Job Requirements:
Civil Engineer with 4-10 years of experience in general civil design.

Experience in transportation and / or site engineering preferred.

Applicants must have a BS in Civil Engineering and PE license or available to obtain PE within several years.

Candidates must be capable of working on multiple projects in a dynamic, fast paced team oriented environment.

Coordination with clients, contractors, outside consultants and firm staff is expected.

Excellent written and oral communication skills a must.

A working knowledge of Federal, State, and local jurisdictional permitting regulations preferable with an emphasis on Maryland State Highway Administration and / or Baltimore City and local county standards.

Applicant must have a general understanding of Geopak, AutoCAD 2004 and/or Microstation and be proficient in MS Word and Excel.
