Job Summary:
Position responsibilities include both management and development of a variety of community planning projects as well as providing planning support to municipalities through on-call planning contracts.

Additional duties will include proposal preparation and presentation, project management, plan development, committee coordination, public presentation and management of technical support staff.

Job Requirements:
Qualified candidates will possess 10 years of project management experience.

AICP with excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills are required.

Candidates should have extensive knowledge and understanding of the Municipalities Planning Code (MPC) and have the ability to travel and participate in evening meetings.

Both private consulting and municipal experience in areas such as comprehensive planning, economic development and community/neighborhood planning with some knowledge of geographic information systems is a plus.
