The American Institutes for Research (AIR), a leading social science research firm with locations throughout the United States, is seeking a Research Associate to support our national security and intelligence practice area. This position will support current and future project efforts in a variety of areas such as job analysis, personnel selection and certification, test development and validation, performance management, program evaluation, workplace surveys, training needs assessment and training evaluation. This candidate will design and conduct training course or program evaluations, conduct workforce analyses, plan and conduct quantitative analyses and organize and document analytical results and research procedures. Responsibilities also include preparing technical reports and journal articles, presenting topics to clients and the public, designing and conducting research projects for federal and private sponsors and writing or contributing to competitive proposals for applied social science research. The persons hired will work as part of a research team on one or more projects. Some travel may be required.
Applicants must have TS/SCI clearance. Qualifications include a Masters, ABD, Ph.D. or equivalent experience in a behavioral or social science research field (e.g. industrial/organizational psychology, organizational development, human resources).
