We’re looking for several highly skilled professionals to join Raytheon UK to support the rapid deployment of robust information tools that will track, monitor and identify potential security risks in real time. Systems Engineers will support development of systems architecture, perform systems analysis, design and development phases of the program. Nature and Scope

Support Programme Process changes to include Programme development Plans and Programme Management Plans. The Trusted Borders Process Group (TBPG) will provide:
Process and tools development, deployment, and training
Process compliance assessments
Process effectiveness resulting from metrics collection and analysis
Corrective and preventive action
Process and productivity improvement
Intergroup coordination
Assist with implementation of updated processes
Works with programme staff to define measures of effectiveness for the processes used on the programme, and will review the process measures periodically to determine process improvements.
The TBPG supports peer reviews of programme and project plans and assists product teams and functions in developing and updating programme plans, collecting and analyzing process measures (e.g., number of defects found in phase and out of phase), collecting lessons learned and contributing best practices to the Process Asset Library (PAL).
•        Ensure that all the processes within the Programme and the key support processes owned by the Programme are clearly defined with clear objectives, inputs and outputs and are reviewed for efficiency and effectiveness.
•        Develop, maintain and report KPIs for these processes.
•        Appoint an owner of each of the processes and ensure that the responsibility and authority for creative improvement is delegated to that owner but that the changes are scrutinised before significant changes are made.
•        Ensure that relevant processes are captured in standard RSL format and made available on the PAL (company information management system).
•        Continuously challenge the way we work and actively identify areas of where change can improve the performance within Programme and in the way this programme works with others in the company. Ensure implementation of any changes to agreed timescales.
•        Benchmark the operation of the Programme’s processes and tools internally and externally (including competitors, partners and within RTN) so that we learn from the best practice seen.
•        Ensure that the suite of programme management tools work effectively together and with the other business systems.
•        Ensure that the suite of tools allow the business to control the programmes effectively and with clarity and are easy to use.
