Description
This position will lead a product center with revenues from $50-$75M, with full responsibility for P/L.   Primary role is to ensure program execution to cost, schedule and technical requirements. The product center includes various programs for numerous products within family. . The product center manager will have a business manager and will lead a co-located team matrixed from the functional areas. The following are job functions/responsibilities: 1. Execution of programs that result in on time deliveries of a technically compliant product, within budget resulting in satisfied customers. 2. Interface with the customer base to ensure good customer relations and grow the product center business. 3. Balance the objective of ATK and the customer in an effort to meet the program milestones, business objectives and contract terms.   4. Drive technical excellence by setting technical standards, balancing risk and mitigation activities to ensure program execution. 5. Productively resolve contractual, technical, financial and legal issues on the program. 6. Preparation and maintenance of all budget/financial activities, including, but not limited to EACs. 7.   Implement Lean, PES and Six Sigma tools. Challenge business impediments to drive a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. 8. Responsible for interfacing with executive management. 9. Maintain a professional and disciplined program management culture. 10. Risk and Opportunity management. 11. Interface with the business development organization for the purpose of identifying and pursuing business growth opportunities.

Qualifications      
MUSTS:
BS/BA IN A TECHNICAL OR BUSINESS FIELD
7-10 YEARS EXPERIENCE IN A MANUFACTURING ENVIRONMENT
5 OR MORE YEARS EXPERIENCE WITH PROGRAM MANAGEMENT WITH DEMONSTRATED SUCCESS
DEMONSTRATED LEADERSHIP SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
DEMONSTRATED EXPERIENCE IN DEALING WITH CUSTOMERS AND DECISION MAKERS WITHIN THE DOD AMMUNITION INDUSTRY
WANTS:
Experience in preparing financial reports, such as EAC’s
Experience within the Chemical Process or Ammunition industry
Strong presentation skills, including experience briefing senior management
Ability to maintain security clearance if needed
