COMPANY is an approved AS 9100:2004 and ISO 9001:2000 facility and our Quality Assurance department is responsible for ensuring that products are built in accordance with all contractual requirements. In addition they:
• SELECT, APPROVE AND EVALUATE VENDORS.
• MONITORS VENDORS PERFORMANCE.
• HAVE A STATE OF THE ART EQUIPPED METROLOGY
LAB.
• TEST EQUIPMENT CALIBRATION IN ACCORDANCE
WITH ISO/ANSI STANDARDS.
• PROVIDE ENVIRONMENTAL STRESS SCREENING OF
ELECTRIC COMPONENTS AND COMPLETED CIRCUIT
BOARDS.
• PERFORM DESIGN ENVIRONMENTAL TESTING IN
SIMULATED FIELD CONDITIONS.
• HAVE A STATE OF THE ART ENVIRONMENTAL TEST
LAB AND GAS PURITY LAB
BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTION AND QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
• Prepares proposals and reviews contracts for Quality Assurance conformance.
• Reviews Purchase Requisitions and assigns Quality Clauses.
• Generates C.D.R.L. reports, Data Packages and internal procedures consistent with contract specifications.
• Interfaces with D.C.M. and Customer Source Representatives on a variety of subjects (e.g., MRB, DD250’s, Hold Points).
• Performs MRB on a daily basis on assigned projects.
• Review Travelers and generate A.I.R. and inspection procedures.
• Review of product for quality conformance to contract specifications prior to shipment.
• Assist with Supplier Audits.
• Perform Contract Reviews and Proposals as assigned.
• Generate weekly/monthly/quarterly reports as assigned.
• Review Engineering Change Orders or new specifications as required.
• Ensure entire program adheres to quality requirements specified in contract.
• Support Project Engineering during failure analysis of acceptance testing failures
• Interface with customers’ Quality /Assurance Representatives
• Review tool and part drawings
• Requisition special gages as well as standard gages as required
• Perform Source Inspection, Audits and Pre-award surveys
• Prepare and/or review Quality Program Plans, Quality Assurance training programs, written procedures consistent with contract specifications and Qualification Test Reports Acceptance Test/Qualification Test procedures, Conax process specifications
• Performs other assignments as defined by Q.A. Management
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Education: BSIE, BSME, or BSEE.
Experience: Experience in Military and
Aerospace Industry preferred
Experience with Lean/Six Sigma
Proficiency with PC Applications in Windows
environment (including Office).
5-7 years as a QA Engineer
